Techna (Sales) Ltd, a second company, was set up in 1958, operating to provide overseas manufacturers with a marketing base in the UK.

In fact, Techna was one of the earliest companies to be involved in the emerging field of circuit protection and over the ensuing years also became involved in the UK production and worldwide sales of high grade passive electronic components.

In 1962, Techna took on the entire product range of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of capital machinery, including stranding, wire drawing, weaving and braiding machinery for the wire and cable industry.

In 1972, the two Techna companies were amalgamated as Techna International Ltd. which today holds exclusive UK representations and distributorships with a number of world leading European and American manufacturers of electrical, electronic and mechanical components, and also ancillary cable and wire machinery.

Due to the special relationship with such manufacturers we are able to provide a service that is second to none.
